Anthony Provasoli is a Partner in Hassans International Law Firm and co-leads the firm’s FinTech team. Anthony has been advising on cryptocurrency and blockchain related work since 2014 and has been very involved in promoting the regulation of crypto currency related business in Gibraltar. Anthony assisted the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission in preparing the guidance notes for the DLT Regulations and has advised a number of high profile cryptocurrency businesses and DLT providers.

Wulf Kaal is a world leading expert on Distributed Ledger Technology. His research focuses on crypto economics, innovation, DLT applications, smart contracts, initial token offerings, and the crypto evolution, including 4th generation crypto infrastructure products. Before entering the academy, he was associated with Cravath, Swain & Moore LLP, in New York, and Goldman Sachs in London, UK.
Kaal is the most widely published proponent of blockchain innovation in law and corporate governance as well as dynamic regulation and associated regulatory applications to improve and expand innovation, including through blockchain technology and smart contracting.
As a professor and technologist, Kaal speaks regularly at leading crypto conferences in the United States, Europe, and Asia. His speaking engagements include presentations at the World Economic Forum, European Central Bank and Harvard University, among many others.
Kaal is also a leading expert on private investment fund regulation and compliance and private investment fund innovation in finance. Siân leads on DLT policy within the Risk and Innovation team at the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission where she advises government and GFSC leadership on virtual currencies and distributed ledger technology.
Seconded to GFSC, Siân continues to head COINsult, a regulatory strategy consultancy focusing on crypto assets that advises fintech startups, enterprises and governments. She also leads the European Digital Currency and Blockchain Technology Forum, a public policy platform helping EU policymakers and legislators shape sound policy and regulation.
Siân sits on ISO’s technical committee on DLT and is a member of its Governance and Smart Contracts expert groups, and BSI’s national mirror committee.
