The QEII centre is the largest, dedicated conference, events and exhibition space in central London. Located in Westminster, the venue offers world class facilities with a capacity up to 2,500. The centre hosts over 400 national and international events every year.

The venue was opened by HM The Queen in 1986 and over the past 30 years it has established itself as a stage for game-changers, innovators and thought leaders across industries, politics and big brands.

JON MATONISFounding Director, Bitcoin Foundation
Jon’s career has included senior influential posts at VISA International, VeriSign, Sumitomo Bank, and Hushmail. An economist and e-Money researcher focused on expanding the circulation of nonpolitical digital currencies, Jon also serves as an independent board director to companies in the Bitcoin, Blockchain, mobile payments, and gaming sectors. Jon has been a featured guest on CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, NPR, Al Jazeera, RT, Virgin Radio, and numerous podcasts.
EMMA LEJEUNEPartner, Isolas
Emma Lejeune has been developing a private client practice for over 12 years and established her own boutique private client and family office practice, Legacy Consulting, before selling the same to Isolas. Emma now works closely with the distributed ledger technology team at Isolas advising family offices in particular on legal issues around blockchain based investments, social meaning and philanthropy.
VIKRAM NAGRANIPartner, Hassans
Vikram is a Partner in Hassans’ Corporate and Commercial department and co-leads the firm’s FinTech Team. Vikram acts on ICOs and other distributed ledger technology matters, including licence applications under Gibraltar’s DLT Providers Regulations. Vikram has also been involved in assisting with the drafting of some of the Guidance Notes to Gibraltar’s DLT Providers Regulations. He is also contributing to the EU Commission’s Blockchain Observatory and Forum.

Nick has over 30 years capital markets experience in developed and emerging markets including five years as the Global Head of Equities for ING Barings. Anthony is a graduate from Nottingham Trent University and was called to the Bar in England and Wales and the Gibraltar Bar in 2005. He specialises in corporate, commercial and financial services matters and also advises on matters of sports law, intellectual property, e-commerce and telecommunications regulation
B21 is the developer of a personal wealth management platform application exclusively for cryptoassets. B21 enables mobile retail investors to create their own portfolio of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS and others and supports recurring investments. B21 is founded by industry veterans Miles Paschini, Nitin Agarwal and Simon Pearson and the company is advised by DNA Fund and blockchain investor and chairman of The Bitcoin Foundation, Brock Pierce.

Joey Garcia is a Partner at ISOLAS LLP in charge of the Fintech/DLT team. Recently he has been recognised as one of only twelve Lawyers around the world in a spotlight table of the leading global lawyers in blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

The listing highlights that Joey Garcia of ISOLAS is a pioneering distributed ledger lawyer, hailed as a “super” practitioner by market sources. He recently advised Gnosis on its ICO, the first time a ConsenSys project was run from Gibraltar, and Xapo on achieving its e-Money licence in Gibraltar. He is also deeply involved in shaping the regulatory environment in Gibraltar, co-chairing the government’s working group on distributed ledger technology.”

Passionate about technology business models that are challenging the status quo and providing greater inclusion for people globally, she has focused on the innovation intersection of emerging technologies and emerging markets both physical and virtual. JED GRANTCEO Peer Mountain
Jed Grant, CEO of Peer Mountain, was just named one of the top 200 FinTech Leaders in Europe by LATTICE80 in March of 2018.
In 2014, he founded a company called KYC3 that used big data machine learning to do KYC/AML Though this Jed discovered that he could marry his passion for decentralization with the need for frictionless, regulated commerce. Out of that Peer Mountain was created: a tokenized blockchain ecosystem that solves major market problems. Jed is also a Founder of the Luxembourg Blockchain and DLT Association.
MIHAI IVASCUModex's Founder & CEO
Serial social-impact entrepreneur, with over 10 years of experience in fintech, software development and start-up consulting, Mihai Ivascu is the CEO & Founder of the blockchain project Modex and the social money transferring app Moneymailme. Also current owner of the software house Ingenium Software Solutions and various other online projects, Mihai Ivascu is enrolled in the Doctorate of Business Administration with a thesis on Disruptive Technologies for the Financial industry, alumni of various executive programs form Harvard University, MIT and Silicon Valley Innovation Centre.
PATRICK LOWRYCEO & Managing Partner of Iconiq
Patrick is the CEO and a Managing Partner of Iconiq, a premier digital asset manager and global, decentralized venture capital group headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to that was a member of the Deutsche Börse Venture Capital team, DB1 Ventures, where he developed a strong passion for blockchain technology and alternative financing methods. He has over a decade of financial industry experience, including as an associate at Graham Partners, a Philadelphia-based private equity group, and PwC as an auditor of private equity, hedge and mutual funds in the asset management assurance services practice. Patrick was a co-founder and the CFO of Voltaic Coatings, a Delaware-based BioTech company, and holds an MBA degree, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Delaware.
